Metal Gear Solid 4 has hit the world hard. As hard as GTA IV? GadgetHeat thinks not as GTA IV was released accross multiple platforms whilst MGS4 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive…for now.

We got such a great reaction for our GTA IV cheats list that we decided to another one (this time with proper easter eggs!) for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (I know I know, we’re too good to you!). Anyway without further ado, here is the list:

You see we’ve searched high and low and have found some genuine MGS4 easter egg below yet we still need your help. If you come accross any confirmed Metal Gear Solid 4 easter eggs (and we do mean any!) leave a comment or contact us and we will update this post with the new information.

MGS4 Easter Egg 1 - This isn’t really an easter egg more of an April Fools ‘joke’ that gave viewers a chance to see a few minutes of Metal Gear Solid 4 Footage but with Snake dressed in the Assassins Creed apparel. Some say it’s just an April fools joke between the two games but others recon that this will be a genuine Easter Egg one you complete Metal Gear Solid 4 the first time or that the Assassins Creed costume will become unlockable at some point during the game.

MGS4 Easter Egg 2 - Check out this new gameplay clip that shows you how to view a secret picture of Akina Minami (this clip sometimes dissapears as gametrailers undergoes maintenace).

MGS4 Easter Egg 3 - This is an Easter Egg found in the Online Beta. Make your character in the character select screen spin round and faint. You’ll see what we mean when you watch the video.

MGS4 Easter Egg 4 - Snake has a conversation with Octacon about how great PS3 and Blu-Ray is. Is this a digg at Microsoft or just a reference to MGS1 - you decide.

MGS4 Easter Egg 5 - Collect a few extra items in the Act 1 briefing by using MK II to roam around the base (poor video quality)

MGS4 Easter Egg 6 - Enter the Red Zone in Act 1 and you can make Snake become a part of the scenary by assuming a pose next to the statue. Video below.

MGS4 Easter Egg 8 -Kojima brings back his favourite model Akina Minami for another cameo. This time you can find a slide show of her during the briefing stages being played on the video screen downstairs and she has even less clothes on than Laughing Octopus as she shows us her beach wear…
