We got such a great reaction for our GTA IV cheats list that we decided to another one (this time with proper easter eggs!) for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
You see we’ve searched high and low and have found some genuine MGS4 easter egg below yet we still need your help. If you come accross any confirmed Metal Gear Solid 4 easter eggs (and we do mean any!) leave a comment or contact us and we will update this post with the new information.

MGS4 Easter Egg 1 – This isn’t really an easter egg more of an April Fools ‘joke’ that gave viewers a chance to see a few minutes of Metal Gear Solid 4 Footage but with Snake dressed in the Assassins Creed apparel. Some say it’s just an April fools joke between the two games but others recon that this will be a genuine Easter Egg one you complete Metal Gear Solid 4 the first time or that the Assassins Creed costume will become unlockable at some point during the game.

MGS4 Easter Egg 2 – Check out this new gameplay clip that shows you how to view a secret picture of Akina Minami (this clip sometimes dissapears as gametrailers undergoes maintenace).

MGS4 Easter Egg 3 – This is an Easter Egg found in the Online Beta. Make your character in the character select screen spin round and faint. You’ll see what we mean when you watch the video.

MGS4 Easter Egg 4 – Snake has a conversation with Octacon about how great PS3 and Blu-Ray is. Is this a digg at Microsoft or just a reference to MGS1 – you decide.

MGS4 Easter Egg 5 – Collect a few extra items in the Act 1 briefing by using MK II to roam around the base (poor video quality)

Can’t wait to see what MGS4 has in store for us this time in terms of Easter Eggs. In MGS3 there was one where you can see Eva in a bikini… the Assassins Creed Easter Egg / April Fools joke was pretty neat too

There’s bound to be loads more like the one with Akina Minami in the game and garaunteed some nut will shoot down every picture in the game to find them

That’s exactly what we’re going to be doing. Stay tuned for a whole bunch of Easter Eggs now that the game is officially out (even though it was being touted on ebay over a week ago…)
there is a crop circle to the left around the rock by the creek when you have to go find Naomi after the guys take her! when you walk up to it you hear Colonol Campbells voice from MGS2 talking about the UFO

heres an easter egg for you. in the missing where yuo must follow the resistance, (shortly after the park bit) when you get to the point where the guy goes up some stairs and walks along a place with cars and i think tables with umbrella things. he will go across abit and start going down another small set of stairs and lean around the corner to check the guards there. if you dont kill/knock them out he’ll go up again and carry on walking across and go around a corner. this leads to another section. instead go down the stairs he was leaning around and have your back to the right hand side. if you look (i dont know if this happens all the time) there is a man in a brown coat (much like snake’s disguise) and hat looking around the corner spying on you. if you look at him he’ll go around the corner again. if you follow after him he’ll be at the next corner looking around. its kinda creepy tbh. it stops after a while though i think, since it didnt come back after i chased it a few times and shot at it.

I haven’t gone back to look, but I think that the mysterious guy people are seeing when you follow the resistance member is actually part of the plot. It is probably that creepy three robot thing following you. Remember after all, Raiden did say that you need to be on your toes, because you are the hunter AND the hunted. Sort of like in act 2 you can see Laughing Octopus lurking around before she actually comes after you.

Just found this out; In act 1, in the Middle East when you watch the video where the beasts are first introduced, when you get the prompt to press L1 to see Screaming Mantis, move the camera to the left to see Psycho Mantis’s “ghost” hovering behind her
That guy that’s spying on you in the resistance act is Big Boss guys he is the one following you around
