Another day another gaming desktop. The IBuyPower duo of the Gamer Fire 640 and Gamer Paladin F830 both come with two interesting quirks, 22-inch Samsung SyncMaster LCD and NVIDIA’s GeForce 3D Vision system.
Breaking things down, the IBuyPower Gamer Fire 640 comes bundled with an AMD Phenom II X3 720 CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a GeForce 9800GTX+ (512MB), dual-layer DVD writer and Vista Home Premium 64-bit. It’s bigger brother, the IBuyPower Gamer Paladin F830, is endowed with a Core i7 920, 6GB of memory, a Blu-ray drive and a GeForce GTX 260 GPU.
Fairly good gaming specs in both cases but we’ve been spoiled first by the Dell Studio XPS 435
and then by the ASUS G71Gx laptop
, both of which are just awesome.
If you do want to grab either the IBuyPower Gamer Fire 640 or Gamer Paladin F830, you will have to hand over $1,349 for the former $1,999 for the latter.
