After months of speculation, ASUS have finally let us have some concrete information on their two Eee Top all-in-one PC, the ET1602 and ET1603. Both machines come with LCD 15.6″ touchscreens, Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU’s, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and upto 160GB hard drive (5,400RPM).
Both the ET1602 / ET1603 Eee Top all-in-one PC also boast WiFi, two USB ports and are pretty portable with a carry-handle allowing you to pack up and move the machines easily. Looks wise however, we can’t help but be reminded of the Sotec DS7010
(maybe that’s just us?).
What’s interesting to us is the way the ET1602 and ET1603 Eee Top all-in-one PC are both so touch-screen focused with a host touch-optimized applications. It looks like touch is the way to go and everyone and their mama are jumping on board.
No word on price and release date as yet. Guess we will have to wait another six months for that titbit….
