The Samsung HMX-H106 Full HD Camcorder is the worlds first with 64GB SSD and is now available to pre-order courtesy of the internets procurer of fine goods Amazon

. Not content with having a reasonably large SSD to play with, the Samsung HMX-H106 is also full HD so you have plenty of space to store those high density video and image files.

The 64GB SSD storage can hold up to 12 hours of 1920 x 1080 pixel video and you can push that number up by using a SD/SDHC card. Our only gripe is the $900 price tag. Looks like the smaller things get the more pricer they become as it’s still about $300 less expensive thatn the Sony TG5 HD Camcorder

Released in Korea today, look out for a USA release come 22nd May when the Samsung HMX-H106 Full HD Camcorder is expected to hit the shelves.
