Gaming chairs are ten-a-penny these days (yes we like our colloquial phrases ^^) and we’ve even come accross some cool chairs designed to surf the web but this GT5 Prologue gaming pod stands out from the crowd big style. Encompassing a 40inch SONY Bravia LCD television this gaming pod immerses you in the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue gaming experience like never before.
Believe it or not some lucky feller won this as a prize in a gaming competition so all of you out there who still think that video games are a waste of time better dust off those control pads and out the hours in if you want to win cool stuff like this.
Weighing in at $15000, winning the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue pod is definitely better than buying it….

You’ve all heard about C-kins (skins) by now and the Commodore XX and GX gaming PC’s (if you haven’t you better step your game up and read all about it here) and Commodore have finally opened their United States webstore for you to grab your high-tech rigs from.
Commodore has long been a favourite of gamers in the United Kingdom and worldwide since the days of the Commodore 64 which made Commodore a household brand in the UK (never mind it being one of the biggest selling game systems of it’s time long before Nintendo and Sega got their swerve on) and with the launch of the Commodore XX last year they’ve really got a winner with their powerful gaming and graphics machines the Commodore GX and Commodore XX.
What makes the Commodore Gaming machines stand out even more is the C-kin panels each unit comes with. As you can see in the pictures they are pretty unique and to top it all off, the pictures are not painted on or even airbrushed but are burned into the panels giving a solid smooth finish. You can even interchange and swap panels if you want to give your PC a new look.

.
The webshop is finally open to United States customers so if your looking for an insanely customised new machine and you are a heavy games and graphics user go check it out Commodore gaming

Our good friends over at PlaystationHeads.co.uk have put up a hands-on mini-review of Haze that you may want to check out before going out and splashing the cash on the game. We had one eye on the launch of this game as it looked pretty tasty from the screenshots we had seen and there were thoughts that this was going to be a Halo for the PS3.
Let’s just say that things aren’t always what they promise to be and it looks like Metal Gear Solid 4 still has a great chance of being on of the PlayStation 3’s defining games…

darkside
We love a shoot-em-up at GadgetHeat and, in a nostalgic moment, I’ve been thinking about getting myself a good scrolling space blast-em-up for a while. DarkSide came to my rescue and it’s a blast from the past with a great modern day twist.
Think of your favourite scrolling space blaster from back in the day (Asteroids springs to mind), pimp it out to the max and you get ‘DarkSide - ArcLight 2′. It’s made by Pieyegames, an independent video games maker with a great reputation for making classic games (two of their games made the top 10 independent games of 2007).
DarkSide is a SciFi 3D shoot-em-up that takes you through 100’s of varied levels of strategy and blast-em-up glory (yes I said hundreds!). The variation in the gameplay plus the gorgeous graphics is what makes this such a blast. Pilot your ship through the solar system as you battle the Krainian Empire in a fight to gain independence for your people. There are three game modes including full-on Arcade mode which really brings back the 80’s heyday of space blast-em ups but in an even bigger and brighter way.

This game is freaking awesome to look at in 3D and with lifetime updates is a steal at $20 from Pieyegames. You can also download the demo to see what we mean by freaking awesome!! by the way, the Smart Bomns will make you wet your pants…

Remember Pac Man? How could anyone forget. An iconic game like that lives through the ages and has all kinds of spin-offs one of which is this cutesy eyeglass case made by Badclipart. As a (not so) young strapping guy I don’t go for glasses cases in the norm and just fling my specs anywhere (and spend all morning looking for them!)) but a case like this is more than just fufilling a need, it’s making a statement.
