We’ve already reviewed the KDL-32S3000 and this is its bigger bro the 40 inch Sony KDL40S3000 Widescreen HDTV so catch up on that HDTV review if you need to know more. Exactly the same specification wise as its 8inch smaller brother, the Sony KDL-40S3000 has the spectacular bravia (bravo!) engine and all the other bells and whistles of the KDL-32S3000 (read the review here).

The only real benefit to the 40 inch and up versions of the SONY s3000 series is that you get that proper cinema style feeling with the bigger screen.

The only drawback to the Sony KDL-40S3000 HD ready TV is that if anything goes wrong, you have to contact SONY customer service and in my experience with the issues i’ve had with ps3, they’re not that great…
