The Logitech QuickCam Pro has been one of the best selling webcams for the past year and the notebook version looks just as good as its desktop cousin, so we decided to give it our critical review.

The Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks comes with RightLight 2 and RightSound giving a pretty crisp and clear picture wherever you decided to have your web conversation.

On the negative side we have just got to point out a few downsides. Although the Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks webcam is touted as being Skype compatible, out of the box it is NOT compatible with the latest version of Skype.

Another problem is the sound quality and echo effect. The microphone does not give the crisp clear sound that you may hope for.

For notebooks or laptops with slim bezels mounting the Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks webcam may prove a little tricky and leave a portion of the screen covered up. Perhaps not a big issue for some but for others it will quickly become irritating having to constantly move their active window to avoid obstructions.

All in all the Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks may be a great webcam in the current market but do not expect it to be flawless by a long shot.
