There are about 50 hidden weapons in MGS4 so you’ve done well if you manage to collect them all. We’ve spotted this Easter Egg displaying an array of weapons, including a Tornado creating dream weapon - the Tenagashima rifle and a solar gun. Check it out after the Jump.
We long suspected that all those guys had some brotherly love going on deep under the need to kill each other and this next Easter Egg proves it.

During the fight between Snake and Liquid Ocelot if you choose not to do anything when Liquid Ocelot has Snake in a choke hold, Liquid Ocelot will lean over and kiss Snake. Mwah, may you rest in peace…

Just to remind ourselves that Metal Gear Solid 4 is a stealth game and not to be treated as a FPS, this next Easter Egg is available only via stealthy means. If you reach the garage level of Advent Place in Act 1 without killing a single PMC soldier you receive the exclusive Frog Soldier Doll item. What’s it good for? Keeping you warm at night perhaps or more likely winning the heart of one of the ladies in Snake’s life (i.e Sunny).
We think Kojima has a thing for Akina. A Slide show of Japanese model Akina Minami can be revealed during the briefing stages. Use MK II to take control of the remote control lying on the table in front of Snake and the Colonel to switch the channel. Metal Gear Solid 4 Easter Egg 6. At the beginning of the Red Zone in Act 1 you can make Snake pose as one of the statues directly infront of the entrance. Approach the statue and press triangle to jump on top then press and hold triangle again to assume the pose (and what a pose - watch where Snake places his hand!)

Defeat Laughing Octopus without any lethal weapons and you get to see Snake recieve some ‘extra special’ treatment in this easter egg for Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4). As the old saying goes, make love not war…
Metal Gear Solid 4 has hit the world hard. As hard as GTA IV? GadgetHeat thinks not as GTA IV was released accross multiple platforms whilst MGS4 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive…for now.

SONY have realised that the rest of the world do count for something so have decided to release this special edition Meta Gear Solid 4 - Guns of the PatriotsPS3 to the Americans as well as the Japanese (they had only planned on giving it to the Japanese initially).
The 80gb PS3 is will be gun-metal grey in colour and have ‘Metal Gear Solid Limited Edition’ etched into the top of the console. No mention of a UK or Europe release yet but keep watching GadgetHeat for the latest news and we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything. Read the full story
