This concept Solar Cell Tree Charger doubles-up as a home ornament whilst giving you all the cheap energy you need to charge a multitude of devices.
Designed by Vivien Muller, the tree branches that form the tree are modular and interchangeable so you can ‘prune’ and rearrange the charger into the tree image of your choice (a must for the customization fans).
This concept has 54 photovoltaic panels along with an internal battery that laps up the suns heat-rays during the day to create solar energy. USB compatible it can then be used to charge a multitude of devices making it not only a pretty useful gadget but environmentally friendly as well.
I can see a novelty gift shop picking this concept Solar Cell Tree Charger up and bringing it to a gadget-store near you pretty soon…

GadgetHeat likes the idea of mini projectors simply because we hate carrying the bigger ones around, especially if you have a laptop and briefcase to lug around too so this mobile phone projector concept already looks like a winner to the GadgetHeat staff.
Our current favourite was the Aiptek Pocket Cinema v10 which is pretty small but this mobile phone projector design by Min-Sun Kim looks to be our new favourite as it combines the use of a cell phone with an embedded projector and we love multi-functional gadgets.
This opens up a world of possibility such as the ability watch all those movies and videos stored on your cell phone by projecting them onto a wall or other surface giving you a big screen experience from small-screen media. With a few more adapters and thought into the design, it could even be possible to play your mobile games this way.
The designer Min-Sun Kim has even taken into account the overheating and battery strain the mobile phone projector would no doubt come across. The projection system is made out of miniaturized video components that allow for minimal light interference and uses the latest battery technology to solve the power issue.
This is one mobile phone projector concept that GadgetHeat definitely hopes sees the light of day.

The buzz around upcoming flexible cell phones has been around for a while now with a few concepts from Motorola even floating about. GadgetHeat was going to wait it out until something more tangible was revealed but once we saw this concept we just had to let our readers in on it. It’s not just flexible, it’s foldable…
The cell phone (named Packet) is a foldable mobile phone designed by Emir Rifat. Whilst not yet in production, seeing as how the big cell phone makers are seriously looking into distinguishing their handsets by design and innovation, it won’t be long before this gets picked up by one of them.
The keypad looks a bit fidgety and will no doubt be refined once it goes into production but the rest of it looks incredible. When folded the Packet is simple an almost flat square shape on which you can see the time and any messages you’ve received.
Once you open it up the keyboard expands to either side of the square and a screen pops up on top. It looks like a gadget James Bond would be proud to hold. Keep your eyes on GadgetHeat and we’ll bring you news when this goes into production.
