The Desktop Onager (don’t worry, we didn’t know what one was either until we came accross this) is perfect if you’re bored at the office, want to inflict some non-lethal (and non-legal) damage and can’t be bothered to take the time and effort it takes to build yourself the nerf chaingun. Simply put this wooden gadget together and you could be lobbing erasers and other small objects at your no doubt soon-to-be-amused colleagues to your hearts content.

The Desktop Onager does involve some DIY to construct this medieval war machine but once you untangle the wood and twine, you will have yourself a weapon stern enough to deter all but the most determined of coffee-mug stealer’s. You could lob the included wooden balls at them or spice things up by setting them on fire before you lob them (legal note - GagdetHeat does not, repeat, does not, recommend that you do this if there is any chance of you being caught ^^).
