We came across the LG Chocolate BL40 a few weeks ago with a neat little promo vid courtesy of the handset makers. Today LG have released the official glamour shots of the LG Chocolate BL40 and my does she look sexy (would a pun on hot chocolate be too cheesy here? Thought so).

The T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro2 has officially been marked for release on August 12th so all you who didn’t fancy the Sidekick Blade can finally get your wallets out. Worldwide the Touch Pro2 is on a multitutde of carriers but in the US, T-mobile are the only ones getting their hands on it at this point in time.

The LG BL40 boasts A 4 inch (yes, 4inches) multi-touch screen cosseted under scratch resistant glass and an impressively thin chassis is just the tip of this handset’s chocolate covered iceberg.

The Sony Ericsson Rachael has been making waves round these parts (the gadget blogosphere) and we have finally seen the UI in action. Looking like a pimped out Sony Ericsson interfaces molded on top of and Android OS, with all the Facebook, Twitter and SMS connectivity on display the Sony Ericsson Rachael definitely looks like a phone for the web 2.0 and social network generation (that’s us in case your wondering).

The LG GC990 Louvre cameraphone boasts a (seemingly) impressive 12.1 megapixels. Why ‘seemingly’ we hear you ask? Well, after 5 or so megapixels the human eye will not necessarily notice the difference in quality per megapixel. It is only when the picture is enlarged past a certain point that any difference may become clear and the LG GC990 Louvre 3.2inch screen, large as it is, probably won’t give any but the most eagle-eyed a thrill no matter how many megapixels it packs in.

The HTC Hero, officially announced today, is the first Android phone with Flash. iPhone 3GS eat your heart out. The impressively flashy exterior aside, the HTC Hero is much in the mould of HTC’s other current offerings, the HTC Magic, HTC Lancaster and the myTouch. Still, with the added Flash and snazzy keyboard with simulated haptic forced-feedback, the HTC Hero may just be the cult winner for anything-but-iPhone diehards.

The long awaited (and multi-named) T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google has finally been officially announced. The T-Mobile myTouch ships in July and is T-Mobiles second android phone (it was previously thought that the T-Mobile myTouch would be known as the Magic).

The Nokia E72 has been much hyped and sought after, especially since the reveal of the Nokia E72 Envelope concept a while back. This promo video of the actual Nokia E72 is a lot less impressive than the concept but still worth a gander for all you business users who something other than a Blackberry or an iPhone to play with during those boring business meetings.
