The iRiver Speedo LZR Racer Aquabeat is a waterproof MP3 player which is more than just another novelty MP3 player, it actually does the business (sort of) too. The iriver P35 is one of those increasingly common breeds, a WiFi PMP. This gives it a big thumbs up from us ’cause we loves us some WiFi on our portable devices (Sidekick et al take note). Reigncom’s new P35 personal media player has a distinctly ‘boxish’ look to it but it’s the UI where it pulls out the stops.

SwitchEasy’s ThumbTacks mics are the cutest little microphones we’ve seen. Cute little accessory for the iPod? Yes please. The mics can also work with any other PMP with the requisite jack and come in a fetching array of red, black and white.

Stanton’s new T.55 and T.92 USB Turntables do the same job as every other vinyl to MP3 turntable but with pre-loaded beat-making software to make the task a tad easier. You probably won’t be seeing these in the clubs any time soon (we all know that DJ’s prefer the flashier turntables) but if you have a host of vinyl that you want to transfer across, these will no doubt get the job done.
