My Interflora Creation – Reviewed
A really interesting, fun and quite quirky flash application has been designed and promoted through a fairly unlikely source, flower experts Interflora. MyInterfloraCreation allows users to create their own bunch of flowers in a virtual florist allowing for a much more bespoke gift for the recipient.
It’s quite innovative really, as the brand realise that many people don’t necessarily want to buy one of the pre-prepared bouquets. They would rather have the simulation of the experience that you get from being in a real florist and hand pick the blooms that have sentimental or symbolic value that may represent a relationship that they may be celebrating with the bouquet.
In an effort to keep the application as inclusive as possible, users are also able to make a hamper. This means that no matter if you are buying for a male or female, who would traditionally be more likely to be the recipient of flowers, there is something for every occasion and person.
The application is simple and easy to use.
You simply go to the My Interflora Creation page of the Interflora site and choose whether you would like to create a bouquet or a hamper. Click on the ‘get started tab’ and use the navigation on the left to browse through the drop down menus which are full of products you can add to your creation.
Once you have spotted the right flower or gift you would like to add to your creation simply drag it into the main area. You can choose flowers by name or by colour if you have a specific colour scheme you are trying to stick to.
There is a helpful price tag on the right hand side of the page too that keeps a running total so you know you’re not going over budget and once you are done, you simply click buy.
You can share your creation on social media as well as being in with the chance of winning an iPad just by using the app. Make sure you get it done by the end of January though as this is when the competition closes.
It’s a great gift idea if you are looking for something with a little more sentiment and my advice is to check out both options, you might stumble upon the perfect valentine’s gift ideas from Interflora, one that you may not have thought about otherwise.
