This Wooden iPod Mini, handmade by iLounge reader ‘Josh’ shows just what you can do with a bit of time and the finest Oak (well, Australian red cedar and Camphor Laurel to be precise).

The guts are made from an old iPod mini and when everything was put back together, you get an authentic fully working wooden iPod mini complete with wooden iPod accessories.

The Wooden iPod Mini’s accessories include a charging dock and a wooden iTrip mini. That’s what you call craftsmanship. We would hate to see what would happen to the wooden iPod mini if you left it in the rain but we’re guessing the effect would be the same for a normal iPod mini with added fungus…..
