The Hercules DJ Control Steel Mixing Deck can be hooked up to a MAC or PC via its USB port and that’s just the beginning. This DJ deck looks like the control panel of the Star Ship Enterprise….
Loaded with all the switches and knobs you will ever need, the Hercules DJ Control Steel Mixing Deck comes with a whopping 46 push buttons, six faders and 13 rotary switches. The push buttons include six kill buttons and five effects buttons. Now I’m a pretty useless DJ and I get the feeling that if you don’t know what your doing, all these options are going overwhelm you (I just want to hit the ‘play’ button).
Definitely not for amateurs (or those who prefer style over substance when it comes to their DJ mixing decks), the Hercules DJ Control Steel Mixing Deck can be used with any MIDI-based DJ software and comes packaged with Virtual DJ 5 if you don’t fancy buying your own. You can even customize the steel center plate by replacing it with a new one if you want to add a bit more flair to the decks.
The Hercules DJ Control Steel Mixing Deck will be available from December 22 for $299.99. Just in time for the New Year block parties….
