USB Atari 2600 Joystick – Old School FTW
|
The Atari was the PlayStation of it’s day. Expensive, exclusive and freaking awesome. Alas, everything comes to an end but the Atari Legacy lives on with the release of the USB Atari 2600 Joystick.
At only $15, the USB Atari 2600 Joystick is relatively cheap for a dose of priceless nostalgia and you can have up to four controllers hooked up to your PC, Mac or Linux at a time.
At first, the single button raised some gaming concerns but we found that you could configure up to 10 fire buttons by using the contact pins on its internal PC board that have been provided for the purpose.
The USB Atari 2600 Joystick is mapable with most new games and comaptible with most emualtors.
If you were born in the late 70′s and 80′s the USB Atari 2600 Joystick will bring back a flood of good time memories. If you’re a new jack, this could be $15 well spent on adding some style to your gaming experience…
