Calculating chalkboard-math-lamp

The Calculating Chalkboard maths lamp will not let you turn it one until you solve a randomly generated maths equation, perfect for teaching your kids all about numbers (and that power isn’t free).

The maths equation appears on the LCD screen and designer Mingyu Jeung has embedded the lamp inside a chalkboard for you to carry out any necessary calculations then enter your answer via the keypad.

Although the Calculating Chalkboard Maths Lamp is a great gadget, when you wake up in the middle of the night and are fumbling for the mens’ room, the last thing you want to do is work out the square root of 8393.998 before you can have a tinkle.
