With the new Blue Zune Flash Player just being released you would have thought Microsoft would be happy with that but oh no, they’ve gone and stepped up their game again with the release of the Zune Artist Series.

The Zune Artist Series, brought to us by Zune Originals, is a set of Zune MP3 PMP’s with custom artwork engraved on the back designed by a few well known tattoo artists include Matt W. Moore and Aya Kato (would famous if you know your ink ^^).

You can select the tattoo design of your choosing (43 to choose from) and have your Zune PMP engraved with the rather fetching patterns before being sent to you. If you were ever considering getting a tatoo (and I would advise against it – so common these days…) then this is your chance to test it out before you take the plunge or not.

After all, if a tattoo doesn’t look good on a Zune, then it won’t look good on you will it?

The Zune Artist Series is available now from the online shop, the real question is, is it a match for the Nano Chromatic?…
