These days the only way you get Microsoft and Apple to work together is through third party apps and the Sotec E7 media center PC with iPod dock is a case in point.

The Sotec E7 media center PC with iPod dock comes with the standard range of features for the Sotec E7 series including DVD drive, 1.3 megapixel camera, Onkyo speakers (8W) and an NVIDIA GeForce 9300 video card. You also get 1GB of ram for your money and upto 160GB hard disk space for the standard ‘entry level’ version.

The pimped out edition of the Sotec E7 media center PC with iPod dock comes with 2GB RAM and a 500GB hard-drive. This version will cost you around $1560 whilst the standard package weighs in at a more reasonable $950.

The question is, is the ipod dock on the Sotec E7 media center PC with iPod dock really enough to make you but it? Probably not especially as there are some really cool standalone ipod docks out there like the Griffin AirCurve and Sotecs other offerings, like the PC Station DS7010, still look like they have the edge over this one…
