Google Chrome Portable – Google On A USB Stick
|
Portable applications are definitely the way forward as far as I’m concerned. I’ve got enough junk install files on my computer to start killing it slowly so the portable version of Google Chrome is just the ticket.
Simply plug the USB stick into any available slot and unzip the files where you want and you can use Google Chrome to your hearts content. All your bookmarks and downloaded cookies and web history are also saved to the USB stick.
The portable Google Chrome software files are also downloadable. You can download the software from Carsten’s site here.

Although Google Chrome is very basic & simple, but that’s I want. I am finding Firefox & IE to be slower than before. It’s a great alternative.
